Gotta love my cleints...

I really have the best clients ever. Between the ones on the Internet and those that we are building for I am just surrounded by fabulous people who all have very specific and definite taste, no one is alike, and that is what keeps me on my toes! Yesterday I received an e-mail from my clients that we are building for. I asked her to send me her inspiration for the kitchen so I can get started on the design process. Here is what she sent me...

Now can you see why I adore her? I am going to be tossing the idea at her for beautiful gray vanities for the mast bath, simple white marble counter tops, possibly a nice clean lined free standing tub, beautiful mosaic tile flooring, and shiny chrome accents to finish it off. After seeing her inspiration I am even more inspired to get this going!

We are enjoying a massive heat wave during our last week at our cabin, 101F is the expected temp today. We will not complain once since I know in a matter of weeks we could be shoveling snow back home. If you are in the heat take a moment to enjoy it, if you can. Mel :)

William Sanoma Home

While sourcing for a client based on Long Island I rediscovered my love for the Williams Sonoma Home collection. A lot of stores tend to stay on the back burner for me since the do not ship to Canada, but my clients based in the States allow me to virtually live through them. Hoping she goes for the Bedford Sofa (in the first image), hint hint Katie.

Here are just a few of my favorite items from them...

Now that Monday is over relax a bit and enjoy the rest of the week. Mel :)

Current projects, the 'Before' images...

Besides all of the new construction homes we have on the go here I am also busy assisting clients via the Internet. Here are a few sneak peaks at some of the before images. All of these homes are just amazing and have great bones, the possibilities are endless...I am so excited to be helping these lovelies make their home theirs!

This is the project that is the closest to being completed. I am excited to see the wall colors up, along with the new flooring, baseboards, and lighting.

Now this client has been crazy busy ripping wall paper out and transforming the home with her own hands. I just hope her husband is helping her!!! BTW, she titled the kitchen image as 'World's Ugliest Kitchen'; LOL...not for long!

This is my latest project. A great center hall designed home and the previous home owners 'made it their own personal mission to cover every square inch in hideous wallpaper! :)'...that is how my client put it, and I could not agree more!!!

I can't wait to share with you the 'after' images, I do promise you they will be worth the wait!! Enjoy your Thursday and here is to the snow leaving us soon up here! Mel :)
