Now typically this look is done with steel windows, but lets face it, in our climate that just aint happening. With the windows that we have ordered there will be aluminum clad on the exterior and hemlock fir on the interior, so we have the flexibility to either stain or paint the interior. We are going for the staining option since it wears a lot better over time with little ones and moisture that can build up on the interior of the glass when the temperature dips and the heat & humidity is cranked up in the house. I will say this decision is creating a snowball affect with other selections in the home, but those I will share with you another time, till then enjoy!! Mel xo
