The Hubs and I just returned from Vegas and what a time we had! I will have a few post about this trip because I have SO much to share, but this one is about the main reason we went, to help celebrate the 10 year wedding anniversary of one of our bestie couple friends. They completely out did themselves this weekend and what a time all of us had while staying at Encore.
It started out with a small group of us heading to Nobu for dinner, but first, a cocktail reception put on by the 'brides' sister and bother-in-law. It was the perfect way to kick start a weekend to remember!
All of us spent the days by the pool enjoying each others company, sharing laughs, and soaking up the sun. Then the first official evening we had Tableau closed off for us, it started with amazing one bites and then a beautifully prepared dinner. After the belly's were full it was off to Tryst in the Wynn for a night of dancing. The lovely couple had 2 tables for us right on the dance floor so we were smack dab in the middle of the action. It may have gone till 4 am and we may have been dancing on the tables...but I'm not saying.
On Saturday we started out with a little bite to eat, a quick trip to the 3 card poker table (my new favorite game that loves me back) and then it was off to the Encore Beach Club. Talk about an amazing experience, we had a bungalow reserved for us with a private pool that was front and center to all of the action. The service was top notch, the sun was bright and high, and the people watching was so fun!
After a few too many hours under the fireball in the sky it was time to get ready for our last dinner together as a group. After some primping and another stop at the 3 card poker table we were off to Botero for dinner. The food...phenom, yet again.
How is this girl ever going to go to Vegas again? We are so blessed and luck to have such amazing, caring, generous, fun, and beautiful people in our lives. This weekend was one that we will remember forever, talk about for years to come, and laugh about over and over again. Thank you so much R & C, I wish you 1000 more years together. xo Mel
