Again, budget played a huge part in the renovation of this cabin since it will be meeting a bulldozer in a few years. Here are some of the products we used that still have great style without the great big price tag..
Kohler faucet from Lowes $92. Has a great line to it and a cottage feel.
Vanity from Lowes $385. The simple arched toe kick and bead board detailing on the panels was just the look we were going for. We used a simple white cultured marble top from Lowes that was priced at $99.
Light from Lowes $59.
The shower unit was blue (to match the toilet) so Rob used a product similar to this. It is now nice and white, not perfect, but good enough for the time and for my nephews that will use it.
For the bath hardware I went to ebay and did some searching until I found a good set that complimented the Kohler faucet we selected. I picked up a toilet paper holder, 18" towel rod, and towel ring for $20 in a polished chrome finish. Also from ebay was a 10% discount coupon for Lowes that was put to great use!
Here is the only 'After' photo I have for now. Once we get back to the cabin this summer I will take better images and post them. But it will give you an idea of how far we have come...and how far we still have to go.
The total cost for flooring, paint, and all fixtures for this room came to $841. Every penny well spent if you ask me. ;)
