Builders standards...

Yesterday Rob & I went to our plumbing supplier so we could update our standard selections for clients. The reason Rob went with me for the selections is simple...I don't work well with a budget, so he kept me on a tight leash needless to say. Even with that I am still very happy with the starting point all of our clients will have. Everything has good lines and will appeal to the masses, yet the price point is good enough that some clients may find themselves with a credit after finalizing their selections.

For the bathrooms we are going with this funky twisted Brizo faucet & this under-mount Kohler sink...

We are giving 2 options for the master bathtub, either your typical air jetted drop in or this free standing soaker tub...

For the kitchen we went with a Brizo faucet has a pull out multi function spray & a Blanco siligranite under-mount sink; which comes in 6 colors...

The powder room will be fitted with a Kohler pedestal (or custom designed vanity) & matching toilet that will also be used throughout the home...

All of the selections are more contemporary than what I go for, but not every client is into bridge faucets and farmhouse style sinks. They just act as a starting point for all of our clients, there will still be tons other faucets and finishes to choose from within the price point given to them. We are just glad to have this done, now tendering jobs will be streamlined.

While we were there I did spy the faucet that I will be using in our next home. I have had a love affair with it for about 2 years now. It may only be going in our powder room, but it will be somewhere. And no, is isn't a standard faucet, unless you add 4 standard faucets together, just don't tell Rob!

Hope your day is a lovely one! I myself am at home with 2 sick boys that seem to be fighting over one stuffed animal in particular. Hello wine, we will be meeting up later tonight!! Mel xoxo
